OUR PURPOSE

Love N Care is a non-profit ministry of BridgePoint Church. Established in 1977 as Love 'n Care Nursery School, the purpose has always been to provide a quality, Christian preschool experience. In the spring of 2017 after a total loss of our church building to fire, Smith Road School provided us a temporary location to continue serving families and the opportunity to expand our vision for the future. We are now licensed with the State of Michigan as Love N Care Early Learning Center back at our original location with BridgePoint Church reopening in February of 2021.

We are thrilled that we have been blessed with a newly  constructed facility back on our original property. As of January 2021, we reopened to continue providing the same quality curriculum, educators and love for children that makes us who we have been for the last 40 plus years.

At Love N Care we provide learning opportunities to build a sound foundation of cognitive, physical, social-emotional, language and spiritual development for children 2 years old to six years old in a secure, positive and loving environment. Through half-day programs for 2 and 3 year olds and extended-day Pre-K programs, children are exposed to developmentally appropriate language, reading, math and science concepts as well as music, art and Bible Stories through play.

The foundation of all we do is The Creative Curriculum for Preschool and The Creative Creative Curriculum  for Infant and Toddlers. The Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills. It is designed to help educators at all levels of experience plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, content-rich program for children with diverse backgrounds and skill levels.

Teaching Strategies Gold is a comprehensive, research-based assessment system that supports effective teaching and children’s development and learning based on the 38 objectives. Through these tools and continuous training and educational opportunities, teachers provide a solid base of learning to help children begin a positive educational journey.
