The call to share the Gospel message to the world is a priority at Bridgepoint. While we may not be the feet that go, through our support to missionaries all over the world, we can be the conduit through which that message flows. We presently support seven missionary families. Many of our missionaries have grown up in or have family ties to BridgePoint Church. Keith and Rhonda Johnson serve with Campus Crusade for Christ. Steve and Mary Jo Mills serve in Togo, Africa with the Association of Baptist For World Evangelism. Joel and Dawn Perry serve in Austria with Greater Europe Missions. Jeff and Rose Shaffer serve in Zambia with SIM. Rick and Connie Stomps serve with the AWANA Clubs of America. Arlene Newcombe retired from Child Evangelism Fellowship and presently serves in our Children’s Ministry at BridgePoint Church.
Through our food closet ministry, we provide food to reach the needs of those in our community who may be experiencing financial hardships. Our food closet serves the Bedford Community and surrounding areas on Wednesdays from 1:30-2:30 pm. Non-perishable donations and financial donations are accepted.
God Works Family Soup Kitchen
God Works and BridgePoint Church have partnered together to provide a free meal each Tuesday to those in our community who are in need. Through the God Works Soup Kitchen, BridgePoint strives to be a starting point to positive change in the lives of the people it serves, providing not only food, but also an environment of care, love, support and safety. Through our commitment of combating hunger, we provide the support and respect guests need to become self-sufficient and regain hope for the future.
